CHEWY
This is Chewy Studios Dallas. In 2017, I was hired in as the first writer to stand up the studio, build a new team, and support the content needs of the Chewy brand, its private-label brands, and its national partners. Clearly, it had a definite vibe and I loved every second.
THE CULTURE CLUB
This project shows what I can do when I’m turned loose and allowed to play. I volunteered to take it on to prove that I could do more for Chewy, and creatively this is probably the peak of my work there.
CHEWY SOCIAL
If I had to choose one word to sum up my time at Chewy it would be “content.” I created a staggering amount of all types, but social is where I shined. In my last two years, I was embedded in the Chewy social team, concepting for social channels all year round. The engagement numbers don’t lie: we figured something out on that team.

It’s exactly what it sounds like. Chewy. Youtube. Chewtube.
CHEWY EATS
Chewy Eats was the product of a creative director turning me loose on my downtime. It became a very successful, stylized, multi-platform content stream that I’m quite proud of as a cook and lover of pets.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
As you can imagine, this series didn’t require as much writing, so I took on the role of a director/producer, helping our editors piece together stories about people doing good work for pets.
CHEWTORIALS
Chewy. Tutorials. These started in the Dallas studio as lo-fi productions but the view counts and engagement grew quickly, which meant a lot more work for me as the sole writer supporting this content stream.
